Executive Mayor Cllr Bafana Michael Ncongwane
Cllr Bafana Michael Ncongwane is the fourth son of the late Rev and Mrs. D. Ncongwane who was the pastor of the Alliance Church in South Africa. Ncongwane was born in Lydenburg on the 22nd of January 1944; he is married to Batseba Winnie Ncongwane, daughter of Chieftainess Victoria Dinkwanyane. They are blessed with three children.
